I had this conundrum in December 2019.

I bought a Fat Face black dress from hospice charity shop for £3.50.
I bought black court shoes with gold heels from Primark for £12.

Total: £15.50
Leftover: £84.50

Use your leftover amount on an item that will bring you joy throughout the winter. I'd go with heated blanket you can use whilst reading/watching TV on the sofa.

How about using one of the rental sites? Hurr, OnLoan etc. If you’re in London there are rental sites at Selfridges and Westfield.
