Corporate employer says “dress for your day” - what to wear

My formerly very corporate and formal employer is changing their dress code to “dress for your day” and wants everyone back in work soon

I haven’t been at work since before lockdown and have no bloody idea what to wear. My precious wardrobe of super corporate dresses / blazers / heels seems way too formal. What’s the way forward? What is everyone else wearing?

Smart hair, simple jewellery, smart (clean!) trainers are key to making sure I can wear something more casual but still feel professional

Could anyone recommend a jacket or blazer for making me look smarter? Which shops are the best to look in? I feel like I've been looking for ages and not found anything. I'd prefer not black if possible.

@StellaAndCrow you have to find something that works for your shape but as someone who is short-waisted and large of nork I have had good luck in Mango, John Lewis, and the Ines de la Fressange range at Uniqlo. This year's A/W IDLF stuff is available from Aug 26th and there are some lovely jackets and blazers, none of which are black: www.uniqlo.com/ines/21fw/uk/en/women/

Thank you Xiaoxiong. I hadn't thought of Uniqlo - I used to buy a lot from then, specially the HeatTech tops. I'm going to have a look at all those suggestions, thank you.
I find a lot of jackets too short for me, or stop at the widest part of my massive hips which isn't the best look!
