How to reduce exposure to blue light from screens (just found out it destroys collagen!)

So now blue light from computer screens and phone screens can damage skin - something else to worry about! Is there a filter that reduces exposure to the blue light from computer screens? I'm definitely looking rather ages recently, loads of lines and do spend a lot of time facing a screen...

Apparently some spf’s say they filter blue light too.

Please don't be taken in by this latest effort of scare marketing by the cosmetics industry. The impact of blue light is really minimal, and negligible from screens. If you wear foundation or a tinted sunscreen you'll have some protection from the iron oxides in those formulations but it still isn't anything to worry about unless you have darker skin and are very prone to hyperpigmentation.

More in depth explanation here.

Thanks, @botemp, that's reassuring. I did wonder if if was just some kind of ploy to get us to buy more, but still had a niggle.

I use the app Twilight on my phone and Flux on my pc to filter blue light.

Thanks, @LavendulaAngustifolia, will look into Flux. Just found a blue light filter on my phone.

I was just looking yesterday at something called Ocusheild which filters blue light from phones and other screens to save your eyes, dont think it mentions skin but sounds like it would work for that too. Cant say if it works as haven't bought yet, just trying to figure out if its worth the cost!

Yep there is one called Ocushield Look here

I have for my phone and laptop they are pretty cheap.
