Best SLS shampoo and conditioner bars for very dry, frizzy, coarse hair?

Inspired by another thread. I have tried bars before but not liked them, but open to trying again. I have very dry, frizzy, coarse hair which needs a lot of moisture. I follow a sort of modifed Curly Girl method where I wash my hair once a week with SLS free products and the other time with Nizoral because I have a flaky scalp.

Bars are very harsh for hair. Something about the type of surfactant they use. Would avoid honestly.

Incidentally why do you use SLS/SLES free products?

Some of the bars from my little eco shop have curly girl safe ingredients of you don't want to use plastics. have found moogoo to be good for me (bought for DD who has eczema). It really helped my scalp too.

I use SLS free at least once a week because it is better for my wavy/curly hair?cuts down on frizz anyway. Trying bars because I want to cut down on plastic. I have a lot of hair, so I do get through a lot of shampoo. Also plan to start running soon, so I may wash more often.
