Bar soap for face?

Anyone use one and would recommend it?

I use soap in the shower plus solid shampoo and conditioner bars and I’d love to swap bottled cleanser for my face for a gentle but effective face soap if such a thing exists.

Info on the soap I mentioned. This stuff has been amazing on my dry skin, DDs acne & DHs eczema & resorts rash. We'd never use anything else now as it's magic stuff...

Having tried a selection of expensive/cheap/natural/fancy etc, I've settled on Nivea in the blue packet for a few years and absolutely will not use anything else. Just basic, simple soap that leaves me feeling clean, followed up by Nivea blue pot moisturiser if skin is dry. There's certainly a reason why it's been around for so many years.

Like many women, I have tried -spent a fortune- a variety of skincare ranges before realising that I'm just putting it on and washing it off 20 seconds later and unless you have a specific skin condition it's just not worth the money.

I always used dove as it didn't make my skin tight and feel horrible BUT I realised it was making my pores huge ! Since I've stopped using bar soap my skin is so much better, I use cereve foam facial cleanser and it's a lot better

Avene Cold Cream soap/cleansing bar is non-drying but still cleans well. I like that it's scented, unperfumed soap is unenjoyable IMO.

My skin is oily and I've found soap much better at controlling it than any face wash/gel. Water alone would never ever cut it for me.

I use the green Pears soap for oily skin in the morning and Cetaphil cleanser at night.

Faith in Nature is a good call if you have normal skin.

Have you looked at Sbtrct? They’re a small business, I follow their IG and their stuff looks lovely. I’ve been wanting to try it a while
