What can I wear with this dress to a wedding?

Hi

I've got this dress and wanted to wear it to a wedding. If it's chilly though, I may need a shrug or wrap.

Do you think orange would work? I have some orange sandals that would go with it.

Any other suggestions for colours or styles of what to wear with the dress?

Thank you!

@MyBoysHaveDogsNames

That's a lovely dress

I'd go more for baby pink or nude I think and maybe a pashmina rather than a structured jacket

Hi. Thank you for replying. It's much more orangey than it looks in the first photo.

It's all day but thought it needs dressing up a bit to make it weddingy enough.

I could get a pashmina but not sure I'd wear it again.

Those sandals go well with it, I wouldn’t do an orange wrap as well though. Maybe navy?

DGFB · 09/08/2021 11:39

I’d take a cream cashmere cardigan with me.. then can be worn again but luxury enough for a wedding

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/08/2021 15:11

The sandals and dress look great together. No pashmina! Just wear a plain jacket and take it off as soon as you can.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/08/2021 15:11

Or a navy cropped cashmere cardigan.

pinkmoon18 · 09/08/2021 15:15

Lovely dress!! Sandles go great!

If you want something to cover up if cold I would go with navy.

MyBoysHaveDogsNames · 09/08/2021 16:04

Cheap and inoffensive! That's my mission statement. Think I should wear something brighter than navy?

Thanks for your help everyone

Personally, I'd let the shoes do the talking and stick to navy for a cover up.

MyBoysHaveDogsNames · 09/08/2021 17:13

Love that. 'Drink the colours'. And I have been known to wear a feather. Will get myself down to the shops and try a few things on against the dress. Thank you all!
