Talk to me about fashionable autumn/winter boots

I’m ready to invest in a good pair that are practical but fashionable. Are Grenson Nanettes totally over? What about DMs? What else should I consider? I’m clueless, please help

I only bought my Nanettes last year so not over for me! I'm not sure lace-up ankle boots are going anywhere. I'll be in those and Docs.

Not sure that Chelsea boots aren't getting a bit past it though. I've been eyeing mine dubiously.

Did you find them true to size, or have to size up /down?

I'm a 6 and went for my usual size.

I don't think it's all chelsea boots but I have a very orangey-tan pair and a blue pair with navy elastic panels which just look a bit 2016. I used to wear with skinnies but I'm moved away from those mostly so... yeah. Not sure what they go with!

I want a new pair of winter boots but nothing too high on the ankle

Those kickers look like they're girl's father than womens. I do think it's the shinyness of them though.

I'm obsessed with winter boots I really want a pair of Grensons but I already have these DM Aimilita's and Mint Velvet biker boots which are perfect really and I can't justify another pair.

I keep seeing Solovair boots recommended on here. Apparently they are the company that made DMs when they were higher quality and still made in the UK. I like Fly London boots. I'm not sure they're fashionable, but I like them and they are the most comfortable things I have ever put on my feet!
