Hairdresser recommendation for short hair in Wakefield / Leeds area

Hi

I'm looking to change hairdressers but want to find one that is confident with short hair and importantly can do a good cut!

My current hairdresser has moved and it's about one hour to get there, the cost has rocketed (they were a bit expensive anyway but now a lot more expensive!) and on last cut made a couple of mistakes that I wasn't happy with.

I'm trawling through local salons but their social media tends to focus on long hair.

Looking around Horbury, Ossett, Cleck, Heck, Morley etc area, pref not City centre salons.

I go to LP Hair on High Street Heckmondwike. My hair is short and they do a really good job. It’s not the cheapest but after wonky disasters I went back. The Senior stylist is great but having been put in at short notice with someone else, I have been just as happy. They are all good.

Thanks frogfacr69. I have been looking at that one as not too far from where I work, will ring them up. Is there any particular stylist you would recommend?

I don’t have a particular one, I’m afraid. There aren’t many staff and you either get one or the other ! I have trouble with my memory and they are so lovely with me. I can’t remember names. I always come away feeling much better and very happy with my cut. I have my fringe coloured as well. They are strict about patch testing which is a good sign.

I know you prefer not city centre. But Joseph bespoke is amazing and has parking nearby just in the way out of the city centre.

If I hadn't have moved I would still go there. I loved them. Married couple run. Both outstanding. One of them also has a salon in ilkley

Also Strada 77 is really good. That's at sandal. Not too far from the motorway
