Help!
Going to posh-ish wedding on weekend. Do not know what to do with hair, face, bag. (Though could combine and put bag over hair and face)

Dress - v neck, black, belted, slim fitting, flicky bit at bottom
Shoes - round toed, 3 inch heel

So what to do? Cannot wear hair in scraped back blob as per norm, never wear makeup normally - does one do OTT for lunchtime event and look forward to dim lights bit or carry all makeup and put on in toilets once disco bit starts? Is a black bag acceptable or should i use some 'colour'?
TIA - any help gratefully received as do not want to look numptyish compared to gorgeous friends.

Definately carry make up and put on for the evening, if you can bear it!
If you waer your hair scraped back normaly, try an 'up style' like a twist with nice clip?
Colour in a bag would look nice.
But then I haven't been to a wedding in about 100years....

Good ideas re makeup, thank you .
Hair is long - bra strap length, v thick, wavy, tendency to frizz. Will up look too Princess Anne ish? Am incompetent with straighteners and have no idea how to make gorgeous fat curls (as opposed to scary 80s perm)!

Not got time, travelling cross country to get there, did think of that. Maybe rollers and a ton of hairspray?? As Kammy said, not been to a wedding in ages, so am v nervous everyone will be very glam and I will turn up looking shit not glam.
