Ladies (or gents) can I give you a coat mission?

Probably done to death on here but you folk do tend to find things on websites I wouldn’t think of looking at. I need a winter coat. My beloved pea coat died last winter after ten years of abuse and I’d like something similar. Last winter I muddled through and lockdown made it easy -

• ideally petite (5ft nothing) but regular fit works if it comes up short in arms
• ideally double breasted
• shortish (hip) length
• hood if poss but not essential
• high wool content

Any ideas??

To add, I’m also open to duffle coats Rolf similar style… feel like I’ve googled hundreds!!

A wool coat with a hood - so not a pea coat then. How about a Duffle coat? Gloverall are the original makers and a fantastic heritage brand but not cheap. Other people obviously make interesting variations of the duffle coat depending on your budget.

Sorry - I’m probably using peacoat as a misnomer but I’m not sure what I mean otherwise!! Also seen them called reefer coats.
