We've been invited to go to a friend's baby boy's christening... haven't been to one before... what does 'one' wear? dd is easy as she's got lots of pretty dresses but the rest of the family... we're more jeans & t-shirt or office attire...

With Christenings, I've always followed my own rule that it's smart dress, but not as smart as you'd wear to a wedding. So DH a suit is good, and yourself, a nice dress or skirt and top/blouse or trousers with nice top/blouse. If it's quite soon, you'll need a coat too.

thank you have the coat and will need to go through my wardrobe to see what's suitable ;)
