Please recommend a short haircut for 42 yr old overweight woman!

I really want to get my hair cut short. I’ve been informed that the haircut I want is ‘a Karen style’ so am looking for something a bit more stylish.

I have fine dirty blonde hair, and am looking for something no longer than shoulder length.

OP, what style do you want? You should tell who ever said it was a Karen style to fuck off.

That is a nice style but I find the tousled look isn’t as easy to style as it looks and requires a lot of product and styling time.

I stand by my comment it’s a nice cut though!

I am of similar description to you OP and I have a blunt cut just sitting on my shoulders. It looks a lot neater and modern than when I had grown it longer in lockdown.
I have had an inverted bob (what I think is referred to as a Karen haircut, urgh) in the past, and it is very flattering and I got a lot of positive comments about it. However you need regular trims to keep the shape and I cba with that.
