I ahead tried a good few but my skin is terrible. It'a a combination of dry and flaky bits and oily.
I have terrible skin and acne. I can't not wear make up or I actually get strange looks and I looked sun burn because it's that inflamed.
Any advice?

I'm sorry, it's miserable.
I have found Jan Marino Bioglycolic cleanser to be a game changer for me. Also cutting out diary.

Have you seen the dr? Spots are very treatable now.

I have similar skin to you and have found this combo works well:

Remove makeup with Simple Micellar water
Wash face with Cetaphil, using a flannel to remove (which also gets off any dry bits)
Use Duac (ask your dr for it) before bed
Let that sink in and put La Roche Posay Toleraine fluide moisturiser on overnight

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo moisturiser. I put that on after a shower.
Revolution Skincare salicylic acid serum at night, or their glycolic toner which gets rid of scars. Doesn't matter what I wash my face with; I tend to opt for soap.
Minimal makeup. Any sore spots get a nice coating of Sudocrem!
