I am 5.2, slim and relatively toned, on the wrong side of 40....should I wear this outfit or would I look ridiculous.
I see lots of younger ladies wearing them in real life, and lots of women my age on IG. But is it a thing or would it be totally crazy.

After having spent all my life trying to hide my belly I really struggle with the concept! Also, what underwear do you wear to avoid the elastic giving you a sausage effect? Am I overthinking it?

As you are 39 or younger (the 'wrong' side) then you don't need to be choosing clothes by your date of birth Grin

This is true for any and every post-pubescent person.

I think you'd look fine. I can't see any reason not to wear the clothes you find comfortable and suitable when you are exercising.

I run outdoors, and see plenty of people in all ages in shorts and skimpy/crop tops - which are very practical from an anti-chafing pov

Just go for it!

Overthinking. If it is comfortable for what you want to do and covers nipples and genitals then go for it.

My main concern for workout clothes is comfort.

You should wear what you are comfortable working out in.

Sounds good! I saw a much older woman wearing similar yesterday and my only thought was jealousy 😂

BuffySummersReportingforSanity · 21/07/2021 16:39

It's what I wear to work out (unless it's really hot, in which case I wear shorts) and I see other women of all ages and sizes wearing same.

You could be 4ft, a size 28 and 70 and you could still wear it.

Stop making clothing choices based on anything other than what you want to wear.
