Am I the only one who thinks that thick eyebrows don't suit EVERYONE?

Hi,

Just that really. Not saying they can't look fabulous on some people and the pencil thin 90's look isn't really great on anyone, but I've noticed that people's brows seem to be getting bigger and bigger and darker and darker, spurred on by the micro blading trend.

On my wedding day (pre covid) I had to ask my make up artist to take them off, as I looked absolutely ridiculous! They must have been an inch thick! I was also orange and highlighted to hell, but that's another story Confused I essentially ended up doing my own make up. Money well spent Hmm

Anyway, that's all! Just wondering if anyone else agrees...

They look frightful on most people and I think a lot of women are going to grimace in 10 years time looking at old photos of themselves.

I agree. So glad that I’ve figured out what suits me and stick with that. I don’t really care what’s in fashion or the newest trend. If it suits me I’ll give it a go, if not then I’ll give it a miss. To be fair, when I was younger I experimented with different looks in makeup, hair and fashion that did not look good on me at all Grin

I don't like the look at all, and in the last week I've seen a couple of people with just painted straight lines, what's that about

I've never really plucked my brows, they they gave the 'over plucked' look

Yes! I have a petite, round shaped face and thick brows do nothing for me. I've tried to grow them out multiple times but thinner brows definitely seem to suit me more.
