I tried Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Banana 3-in-1 Dry Hair Mask...

After some mixed reviews about the Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Banana 3-in-1 Dry Hair Mask, here on MN, I found it as I was out shopping for just a couple of pounds and thought I'd give it a go.

For context, I am 48, I have dark brown hair (which I now colour, myself, every four-to-six weeks) down to mid back, and co-wash. I rarely use products or heat on my hair (I air dry it). My hair is wavy-ish and a little frizzy (probably due to the colouring).

The Garnier product made my hair quite soft. It wasn't a huge difference but it was definitely noticeable. I tend to put it on before I shower, leave it for 20 minutes or so, and then rinse it before co-washing with my conditioner.

I also bought a similar Pantene product at the same time so once the Garnier runs out I'll move onto that one. Given I only paid a couple of pounds for the Garnier banana food, I will probably repurchase it.

Hope this helps!

I use the Coconut & Macadamia variant, it's about £3.80 from Home Bargains. Bloody good stuff.
