UGGS v DUO - which?

Sorry for another post about this, but my husband wants to know what to buy me for Christmas. Now, the thing is, I have to be specific for my husband. If anything is left to his choice, well - who knows what'll I'd end up with.

So, I thought, perhaps some UGGS? I'd feel guilty for spending all this normally, but in this case (present) I think it's ok.

There is also another option; still along the boots line, I could also say I'd like a new pair of DUO boots. I can tell him the style, the size and he can happily go off and order. Easy peasy.

So, would you go for UGGS (if so, which ones?) or Duo boots?

Thanks in advance fabulous mumsnetters

Uggs are a bit like velour tracksuits

My duo boots sole came off after 4 weeks, i wouldn't buy them again.

brimfull · 24/11/2007 17:05

well I was going to say duo until I saw hideehi's post.

Did you send them back hideehi?

Hideehi · 24/11/2007 17:07

I was going to send them back but there was a 7 week wait for another pair so i got them repaired myself.

I've had DUO boots so far 3 times and have alreays been very happy with the quality - so far. Mind you, maybe the company has now got so big, they are not as hot on quality?

And yes darth, I know what you mean but I tried my friend's on the other day they did seem awfully cosy. I already have shoeboots and ankle boots so it's not like I'd be living in them.....but for daywear they may work?

Get some frye boots!
www.revolveclothing.com and get 30%off as first time buyer(if you are). At current exchange rate, mine came to @£82.00!

Well I opted for the UGGS. They were purchased today, that honey tan/chesnut colour, [tall ones] and they are lovely lovely lovely. I thought they may make my feet look big, but they don't, and look really good with skirts too (which was a surprise!)

DH has promised me a new pair Duo boots next autumm so a very happy ending
