I think I found the Holy Grail of mascaras!

Ok ladies, I honestly think Ive found it! I almost don't want to share it in case it sells out, but its my duty to womankind to tell you of this beauty myth!

Victoria Beckham mascara. It lasts all day without smudging, it lasted through a very teary session with my psychiatrist yesterday.
It's not gloopy or and there is not loads clinging to the brush when you open it.
It gives fantastic definition and really wakes your eyes up. And it comes off so easily!

The packaging is weighty and sleek and I am totally in love with it!

It's about £35 and takes about 10 days to deliver from the US - there was no customs charge for it.

It's not for you if you like a false lash effect, its just a great mascara that gives a really lovely effect on your eyes.

Go forth and claim the Holy Grail!

Hey, I couldn’t not click on that title, had to know what the brand was
Interesting that it’s a us product

ThankYouVeryMuchGerry · 07/07/2021 21:58

I know - I honestly thought it was a UK product until it arrived.

Stylist gave it good review, they’re always quite reliable and honest

Tubing mascaras are generally always good I use Clinique power lash and it’s industrial

Maireas · 08/07/2021 05:59

I was going to say Clinique Power Lash. Got it in Boots. Amazing.

Maireas · 08/07/2021 06:01

@ThankYouVeryMuchGerry ( love your user name) how long does it last?

Maireas · 08/07/2021 06:01

I don't like the false lash effect either.

ElderMillennial · 08/07/2021 06:05

After reading this thread I feel I should try the Clinique one

£35 is a lot for mascara and I find most that I use to be quite good

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 08/07/2021 06:23

Boots No.7 do a tubing mascara which is very good, so do Glossier which is also good but gives a more natural look.

FreeBritnee · 08/07/2021 06:25

Lacura’s waterproof mascara is excellent. About £3.99. Doesn’t budge.

Hopetobe4mrfatty · 08/07/2021 06:26

@ThankYouVeryMuchGerry do you also use revitalash not cheap but so worth it

ElderMillennial · 08/07/2021 07:06

I use uk lash serum

Cheaper than revitalash but it works

£34ish from QVC's

WeMarchOn · 08/07/2021 07:13

Mascara for me runs even with waterproof, I'm currently using Younique epic waterproof but it still runs, i think i have over watery eyes

ImbarbaraB · 08/07/2021 09:37

I bought this as a gift for a family member recently and they love it

I want it for myself but don’t want to spend £35 on myself at the moment

Il be putting it on my birthday list

TheVampiresWife · 08/07/2021 10:59

I found my HG mascara a few months ago and it's three quid Grin It's got a cult following apparently and I can see why. It's the best I've ever used. The packaging isn't sleek or anything but it's brilliant!

BrilliantBetty · 08/07/2021 11:04

Oh I might have to try! I don't have any VB as yet.

I have used Clinique for years as I buy a lot from them and often get a bonus bag of make up it always comes with little mascaras. I really like them, not sure if it's the same as mentioned up thread but it's good. And I like the small size of the freebies, good for my handbag.

TheLivingAnt · 08/07/2021 20:00

I’ve been using the very thing for the last two weeks. It is utterly fabulous. My lashes are quite sparse anyway and it stops them clumping together and looking worse. I’m a big fan. It’s also really easy to get off.

RamItBunty · 08/07/2021 21:39

@TheVampiresWife thanks for the reccy and wow what a fab website

I think there's a 3 for 2 on Essence at the moment. Free postage too. And no I'm not on a commission Grin

RamItBunty · 09/07/2021 17:04

It’s great to get a reccy on a site you’re unfamiliar with. Like getting a nod on summat

CambsAlways · 09/07/2021 18:28

Rimmel Accelarator mascara for me every time around 9 pound

BitterestPill · 09/07/2021 20:39

I have false lashes applied.
Haven't used mascara in 3 years

Oh no - now you’ve made me spend loads of money 😂
FatimaLovesBread · 10/07/2021 01:54

Ooh interested to know it good. I bought the VB bronzing brick and a lipstick on my last London trip and both are lovely.

Currently using a mascara from my John Lewis goodie bag, Hourglass Extreme Caution or something, wouldn't have looked twice at it before but it is bomb proof, no smudging at all with my hayfever eyes

MorriseysGladioli · 10/07/2021 02:04

I can never find a mascara that stays put.
I get smudges top and bottom.
Also, I need a lot of help to make my lashes look full.
Natural doesn't cut it for me.

Youtrustthefridge · 11/07/2021 11:15

I knew as soon as I saw that title that you were talking about VB mascara. It’s awesome! The wand is what makes it I think. Worth every penny. I’ve also got the eye shimmer, liner, bronzer and lip tint. All of it is great.
