Can someone help me find a cheaper version of this coat, please?

I really don't think I can justify spending £139 (although it will last me years).

I'm looking for a similar design, warmth and colour (olive) and preferably half the price! The few I've looked at so far are too young fro me.

Thanks

Vintage Olive Parka

Does it have to be waterproof too?

JackieNo · 23/11/2007 16:42

smurfgirl · 23/11/2007 16:44

Nbg · 23/11/2007 16:47

Be very careful Mercy, that style unless it is very good quality can look dreadful.

luciemule · 23/11/2007 16:50

Check out Next website as they have some similar coats. One is black in the picture but they have it in Khaki not olive. Less than half the price though. They had loads of others too.

StrangeTown · 23/11/2007 16:52

The Per Una one is v nice and good price I think.

Carmenere, I know, I know. At my age you do have to careful.

I like the Hawkshead one, but they don't do size 8. The Grattan one looks promising but I don't think it's waterproof unfortunately.

i like the asos one. v cute.

Carmenere, if you see this - do you think I should go all out for the Lands End one then?

That's my gut feeling tbh, in spite of the cost. It's simple and practical and should last for years.

Has anyone else got one?

Actually Mercy I do, as it is a classic, it will last and that is not so much if you get a few years out of it. Go for it.
that said I didn't look at all the rest but my instinct is to go for the best one.

Mercy · 23/11/2007 21:39

Thank you

I'm going to have one last look in T K Max tomorrow or Monday if I can - but I think I know what I am going to buy!

Mercy I have the Grattan one, it is definately water proof. I have walked for ages in rain in it and stayed dry!

loucee · 24/11/2007 08:31

Mercy - I love the Lands End one, looks like it's going to be so warm and protective and will LOOk good in a few years too.

Tempting, I've been looking for a similar coat.
