How do you keep your feet warm and remain stylish?

Are Uggs a good idea? Obviously they are ugly, but my feet are really cold. If not, what else to wear on my feet in the winter? Trod in a puddle on Monday and now obsessed

GOt fake Uggs today, though they do have sheepskin inners - though I can't help feeling they're a bit immoral - like wearing duvets.

Tyaca, those are lovely boots but impractical. But then fake Uggs too? what happens to them in the rain - scared - wishing I'd followed Mrs Badger sensible suggestion.
