I don't mind plain, print or graphic print. Preferably with a scoop or v neck, relaxed fit and preferably long(ish) length as I'm tall.

I've had some lovely ones from Hush (yes, I know it's considered frumpy, but it's just a t-shirt) and All Saints, but can't see anything similar with long sleeves.

Babipur.

BojackHorsewoman · 27/06/2021 10:18

Oh really? I thought they were mainly for kids' things. Thanks, will check them out.

Sustainable is a good plus point.

H&M

KatyS36 · 27/06/2021 10:36

Seasalt. Great quality and range of colours

BojackHorsewoman · 27/06/2021 10:38

I think the babipur prints are a bit much for me.

I've found some lovely looking scoop necks in Jigsaw just now, on sale, so have ordered two and also a Merino v neck jumper which I'd also been looking for.

Will check H&M too, as I like a lot of their things.

I always get them from Jigsaw or Baukjen

BojackHorsewoman · 27/06/2021 10:40

Will try Seasalt as well. I did look in Baujken and then saw the ones on sale in Jigsaw.

Cos - I’ve never had a dud top from them (trousers on the other hand…!)

Nitgel · 27/06/2021 10:44

i do love the Free People Betty long sleeve tops too but they're really thin but I do like that, they are also very long

1990s · 27/06/2021 10:49

Gap tall ones are pretty good, quite thick and stretchy, depends what you're looking for.

BojackHorsewoman · 27/06/2021 10:52

Agree re Cos trousers Hmm. I've had a horrible pair from them before.

Will check all these out. I've got a good few sheit sleeve t-shirts but do like long sleeves, even in summer.

Why is Hush frumpy? They're crap quality but fairly trendy I thought?

Bryonyshcmyony · 27/06/2021 11:01

Primark
Their slouchy long sleeve Ts and stretch crew necks Ts are fab, I buy 2 sizes up.

PyjamaFan · 27/06/2021 11:02

I have some nice plain long sleeved tops from White Stuff. I've had them for years and they still look good and wash well.

Purplecatshopaholic · 27/06/2021 11:04

I got some from ASOS recently - decent quality

They are definitely called frumpy, fairly frequently on here! Possibly just because they lean towards very casual stuff (joggers etc) and work wear and are maybe a bit 'safe'. I like a lot of their stuff though. Agree re quality. My t-shirt (now relegated to PJ top) from there which I love the shape of, got a hole in it after about 6 months. I did wear it quite a lot though tbf.

Uniqlo are crap if you are tall and or long bodied.

Oh really? That's a shame, I thought they looked good in pictures/described as longline. Models are 5'8"+

I'm a 5'2" shortarse so maybe my judgment is way off! 😂

Also had this problem.

Gap modern.. I love them and they are cheap as heck.
Fat Face Bretons are brilliant, they wash and wear so well
