Skin + Me, what do people think?

I used a code to get a free sample of this for a month and at the moment I’m distinctly underwhelmed.
It seems expensive for the product size and each daily amount seems small and much less than I would normally use in a night cream.
Am I missing something or is this just a moisturiser/night cream? I’m willing to see how it goes for the month supply but I’m thinking about going back to my usual products of The Ordinary and Aldi brand night cream Lacure.
Has anyone stayed with Skin + Me and thinks it’s worth it?

It’ll take about 3 months to see a positive difference. The packaging and dispensed amounts seem tiny but you only need a very thin, even layer. Look up the ‘13 dot technique’ if you’re having trouble making the small amount go all the way over your face. Applied any thicker and you’re more likely to have side effects (irritation, dryness etc), plus it won’t be any more effective if you double the amount they suggest. I’m on Dermatica but the principle is the same (monthly delivered prescription actives in dosed packaging).

I used prescription tret (bought OTC on holidays in EU) for years but I’ve seen so much more improvement with the Dermatica in a few months. I think it’s the mix of actives in the Dermatica that are working for me.

I love it! I'm really old and it's sorted my incipient wrinkles and sun damage. Plus it gives you the Tret glow - you do have to be patient though as I've been using it for about 6 mths. I also find it actually saves money as the only other skin care I buy now are a cheap cleansing cream moisturiser and sun block - before this I was forever messing around with different products

I stuck with it for a year. I did see some improvements after 3 months but nothing dramatic. I had some initial redness which calmed down, but in month 9 I started getting breakouts again with a lot of soreness and redness. They kept going for the next three months and so in December I canc led my subscription.

I switched to matrixyl serum. The results are great and the soreness has gone and the real outs are lessening rapidly.
