non patterned, non frilly summer dresses - where?

has anyone seen any? i've been trawling the internet for days and went to a shopping centre earlier but all i'm seeing are patterned, flowery and ruffled things which i don't like (and would make me look even fatter which i'm very self conscious about).

i'm looking for a sleeveless casual midi dress, non clingy, cotton/linen or possibly viscose and pockets would be a bonus.

favourite colour is blue. size 16 (possibly 18 in some styles because of boobs and hips), budget up to £100.

can anyone help me please?

it really is difficult to find non patterned dresses on the high street - i agree @Bertiebiscuit .

thanks to the posters on this thread i've found a few brands who seem to do clothes that are more 'me'. they tend to be a bit more expensive but thats fine for a good quality dress that (hopefully) fits well and doesn't seem to follow any particular fashion trend.

Boden. They do loads of plain stuff in cotton, you just have to get past the patterns and find it on the website. If you’re larger and self conscious, the cotton is very good quality and the cut tends to be flattering
