Anyone size 14 bought a great summer dress recently - cheaper than Boden prices?

My hit rate for keeping online shopping purchases is probably less than 10%. I desperately want a new summer dress, having not managed to get one last year. Perhaps I need to look somewhere new. I know Boden dresses fit me well, but just can't justify the cost and I don't even see anything I love this year.

Adding to the hundreds of 'find me a summer dress' threads on here - has anyone bought one recently that they love, who wears a similar size/fit to me?

I'm a size 14, wide of hips, F cup chest and a high waist, so, something with waist definition looks best, but it needs to skim my hips rather than cling to them. I'd prefer a pattern but don't suit big prints. jersey-cotton and sleeveless or short sleeved. short knee length or midi if it has a split.

I'm so fed up with online shopping but don't live near any decent shopping areas and due to Covid haven't been on any proper shopping trips to a big city or shopping centre since January 2020.

I bought a DKNY dress very similar to this in style from tkmaxx in black and white check but was much cheaper at £34.99 loved it so much I went back and bought another one in wedge wood blue plain but with a slight pattern in the weave
Both were in store purchases as I find tkmaxx website rubbish

M&S are your best bet. Look for the cotton patterned midaxis and shirt dresses. They've been doing similar styles for the last few years and they suit me as a 14. I've tried to post screenshots but it's not letting me !

Look at monsoon, their dresses fit bigger boobs. Some dresses are very expensive but they also do more reasonable ones.
