Please help me find some shoes to go with this wedding dress?

Hi :) I’m getting married in August in this wedding dress and I don’t know what to do about shoes! I don’t normally wear heels but I think I stand straighter in them so planning to wear heels for the ceremony and change into flats later. I would need something relatively secure (maybe with a strap?) so I don’t fall flat on my face and I don’t want to go too glam as everything else is very boho (dried flowers in my hair, etc).

Also take a look at ESSKA Shoes. I have a pair of mid heels from there that are surprisingly comfy and have lasted many years.

@TheUniversalsHere I've never seen that brand before. Have you ordered from them? I see a pair I like, but how are they with returns if they don't work out?

I wore the Mimosa shoe by Rachel Simpson. I think they would be lovely with your dress, which is gorgeous by the way, and they were comfortable and secure as they are a t-bar style. You are going to look beautiful.

As you don't usually wear heels have you thought about dance shoes? They are made to move in so might be more comfortable and the heels tend to have a bit of a flare rather than stiletto.

I think the first pair linked to are lovely and would go perfectly with the beautiful floaty dress; the dance shoes are a bit solid/heavier looking.

Ive had a look at clarehanks.com shoe web site and I think its a fake site .. be careful. I did a reverse goole image search on and up come the web site www.rivecour.com with the very same shoes but at a much higher price. There's no phone number either for ClareHanks ... it seem's well dodgy!

Oh hey, that was my wedding dress too! Mine was the pale pink version and I wore the Slide Ivory Satin slingback shoe from the rainbow club. You can do custom dying through them that can go to any time but I stuck with ivory.
I'm pretty tall (5'10) and had to have the hem taken up a bit, so just had a peek of the shoe tip showing, it worked well :)

Lol and my post was completely useless as I posted in excitement way too quickly! Have properly read your request for high heels - I do recommend the alise shoes for your flats later on! The only issue with going from heels to flats is that the hem will drag more but at the party bit you probs won't care about that!

I’ve seen on their Facebook page someone else reporting it as a fake site … it seemed to good to be true!

Oh no, I ordered two pairs of shoes to try before I saw the updates about it being a fake site. It was a week ago and they haven't been dispatched yet... fingers crossed

Hi, just wondering if you received those shoes in the end? My friend ordered from them a few weeks ago and nothing as arrived. It does seem to be fake, unfortunately.
