And not completely vanish after like one drink?

It seems like a magic trick everyone knows except me?!

Use a lip liner (I like the clear ones: www.kikocosmetics.com/en-gb/make-up/lips/primer/Invisible-Lip-Liner/p-KM0020600100144

Always use a lip brush and paint on the lip stick.
Blot with a tissue then take another tissue and separate the layers so you have a fine piece of tissue and then put it over your lips and with a fluffy brush and dusting face powder brush over the tissue.
Then go over again with the lip brush and more lipstick.
Done.
I hope I explained it properly, I'm clumsy with words today.

maybelline

I love Maybelline Superstay range. The lipstick has a second part which seals the lipstick and makes it last.

My method is: Always use a lip brush. Apply lipstick. Blot with tissue (bite on a piece). Apply another coat. Blot again. Apply a very light third coat. Apply a coat of Lipcote (paint-on stuff in a little glass bottle).

I wear the Maybelline 24 Hour stuff. Or use Lipcote.

I still usually do a midday top up of the centre but I have to actively scrub the bloody Maybelline stuff off my mouth at the end of the day.

Mac liquid Matt colours stay on for days!

Also a fan of maybelline - matte ink or the ones with the balm stick thing on the other end. Really beautiful colours if you go to a massive Superdrug (or Boots but Superdrug has more). These last through food and drink surprisingly well - you only need to touch up if you have something very oily and even so I tend to find you only need to do the middle of your lips again.

Maybelline 24hr wear here too, absolutely won’t budge, doesn’t roll into gunk, doesn’t feel dry and doesn’t crack or make you lips look 106 years old. Could recommend it more.

Definitely need these tips

Feel like all those issues of Sugar Magazine didn't let me in on this witchcraft Grin

It's the lipstick you wear. Most traditional stick lipsticks don't last, the best ones are the double ended ones with a liquid at one end and a clear balm at the other. They last all day.

I have always used this method and it's never failed

Rimmel Provokalips - amazing. Still there after fish and chips and a whole day’s work.
