Since the first lockdown I've been happily re-colouring my own hair every couple of months with l'Oreal Excellence permanent hair colour. It's fine, except that the conditioner makes my hair droop afterwards. Can I use my own conditioner instead (I use Redken Colour Extend Magnetics)? The l'Oreal one is so rich. Or maybe that's the point and it needs to be?
