Refunds or credits from J Lewis after their 35 days policy- anyone?

I bought some shoes a few months back which are unworn and in the box etc. Bought online from JL. I'd be happy to exchange or try a different colour.

They used to have a much longer return date (90 days) although it's been changed for a while to 35.

Has anyone had any success returning or exchanging anything beyond this?

They said it's 35 days from store first opening date for items bought in lockdown. Does that help?

They said try and see as you could get lucky depending on who serves you.

I tried sending something back a few weeks late and got a refund just fine. It was still in stock on the website though, if that makes a difference

Thanks. Maybe but they were bought online and I used Click and Collect (so no excuse about returning, really.) I may try though.

Definitely try and if you get nowhere ask to speak to a manager. You'll get a refund then.

I sent something back about a week late just after the shops re-opened and they refunded with no quibbles. I’d probably just send it back via Collect+ and see what happens.
