Hair spray recommendations that don't damage hair, but actually hold!

Hi,

So I've recently splurged on a Dyson Airwrap 🤑 which I have to say, I am really loving. However, my hair just doesn't hold curls....even though it's naturally quite curly 🤔 It looks great for about 30 minutes and then gradually drops out completely after an hour or two.

I did occasionally use hair spray years ago, but found it made my hair very dry and caused a bit of breakage, so I haven't used it for years. I've since bleached my hair, so definitely more fragile these days.

After falling in love with the Airwrap however, I really want to maintain the gorgeous waves for longer.

Any recommendations? I'm on Look Fantastic right now, ready to add my final yeah right! item into the basket Grin

TIA

Ellnett is a classic and works. I think its ok, used it on bleached hair before.

The problem is that most hairsprays contain high levels of alcohol, which is drying to hair. I'm a lifelong Elnett user. The hold is fantastic but I've noticed how much softer my hair has become during lockdown when I haven't been using it.

I just googled alcohol free hairspray and found this www.boots.com/pantene-never-stray-no-crunch-alcohol-free-hair-spray-180-ml-10275818 which might work for you.

Reviews aren't great from people with fine hair, so probably wouldn't be for me, but might be worth a try.
