Best cheap shampoo?

Have just used the garnier banana shampoo for the second time and it has left my hair horribly sticky but also frizzy 😭

I used to use a pink bottle L’Oréal which I liked but they’ve stopped doing it

By cheap I mean £5 or less, because I live in a hard water are anyway and am sick of using a shampoo once and realising it’s crap so lithe to spend more

I prefer Aldi’s version of Aussie mega over the real one. Leaves my hair really soft and not frizzy. Only costs £1 too.

Faith in nature solid shampoo, it's around £4 and I started using my bar before Christmas and it's only just starting to look used. That's with washing my hair ,was very long now shoulder length, twice a week.

Boots own mango and papaya. 75p!

Have considered a water softener or at least a shower head that filters but are they just a gimmick??

I always use Alberto balsam green apple shampoo,or their tea tree one, 95 pence.. I never use a conditioner at all.

I don't think that conditioner does anything to the condition. I've tried expensive ones and they were no better than own brand. The alberto balsam shampoo is ok by me.

A plumber in water softener would work, the type that requires salt to clean the limescale removing resin inside.

Yes, that's the one I use too, it's brilliant. My dad always used to say shampoo was a con and used washing up liquid. He had fantastic hair
