I know they were bought out by Boohoo who I know are absolutely awful, but how the hell can they get away with charging nearly £100 for something that turns up like this?!?! And when I contacted them to complain, seem to think this item is perfectly acceptable? Angry

It's just cheap boohoo products with a KM label stuck on it now.
The quality is long gone and I won't be buying from there again.

I did not know that Karen Millen had been bough out. I loved the quality of that brand! I won’t be buying from boohoo that’s for sure.

I used to spend £400 a month in there 15 years ago. Now it’s all polyester shite.

Is there makeup or dirt showing in the last picture?

20 years ago Karen Millen was fabulous- they had the most amazing beaded dresses and tops - I think I still have one in my box of beautiful clothes that I’ll never fit into but keep for the memories!

I have a 25 year old beaded cocktail dress from KM that is still in such good condition I can’t bring myself to get rid of it. Went into a shop a couple of years ago and it was utter tat.

@Anoisagusaris I'm not sure what it is but this was taken immediately after delivery Angry. Certainly won't ever be buying from them again!

I used to love KM. Still worth looking out for older stuff on ebay but their new stuff is awful quality.

If anyone else wants to stop giving Boohoo their money, they also own Coast, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Burton, Debenhams, Warehouse, Oasis, Pretty Little Thing, MissPap and Nasty Gal.

I’m buying more and more from eBay, “good” brands at very convenient prices, though I imagine that’s not the answer either.

Sadly Coast have gone the same way. I was shocked at the poor quality of a dress I bought recently. Sent it back abs won’t be shopping there again either
