What to wear for nice lunch in London.

Am going to London next month and have booked a table at Bob Bob Ricard. Have been dying to go for ages.
We're going to a show in the evening so have booked a late lunch (3pm)
Am now stressing over what to wear. Want to look glam but will be walking around London a fair bit during the day too so want to be comfortable too.
Everything I've read says it's fairly formal but would I get away with a nice dress, leather jacket and boots? Or is that a complete no no and totally missing the mark? Help please!!
Am a short curvy size 16 so can't just throw anything on- it needs to be well planned or I'll look like a bag of rags.

Yes you absolutely would. Londoners are pretty casual generally.

Dress, leather jacket and boots sounds good. You could go for down the blazer route. I think wide leg trousers seem to ‘take you anywhere’ currently too.

I would love to wear wide legged trousers, always think they look so chic - however they make my legs look very short and stumpy...

Can't wait- just keeping fingers and toes crossed that we can travel and there no restrictions by then.
