Jeans - different colours

I might be looking for the impossible here.

I have worn quite a large hole in a lovely comfortable pair of jeans that I bought about 2 years ago in M&S. The thing is these weren't your standard blue/light-blue/black colour jeans. These were royal blue. I have a similar pair in burgundy red. They are also well loved and well worn. I feel I will have to replace them too soon enough.

I want to find replacements. I have seen jeggings in similar colours but they don't have pockets at the front and I'm looking for pockets too.

I'm a size UK18 and I'm 5'2".

Can you help me find what I'm looking for please?

True, you need to look at the colour of the stitching and be happy with the look you’ll have once the fabric is dyed - you also need to look at the quality of the stitching, because if it’s a very cheap pair with some dodgy stitches they’ll be obvious when the surrounding fabric is dyed. But I’ve had some very good results.

I have these from Sainsbury’s. Mine are old faithfuls and orange. They just keep going and are brilliant.

Lands End have different colour jeans although they seem to be mostly warmer, muted shades.

These Phase Eight ones are a lovely colour www.phase-eight.com/product/ramona-straight-leg-jean-101322751.html#cgid=trousers&is=false&sz=60&start=0&isSecondPage=false&pid=101322751&pos=19 although sizing comes up small so the 18 may be a squeeze.

@MerryChristmasToYou

or these?

i have no affiliation, just trying to help.

These look more like the blue ones. They were quite a striking blue colour and so comfortable to wear as they weren't stiff like denim can be.

I wish they would bring them back in M&S.

Why don't you contact M&S and tell them. They do look nice.

Bertiebiscuit · 04/06/2021 18:13

Are you absolutely sure you can't Mend them????

Dingbat · 04/06/2021 18:40

I feel your frustration. I’m almost exactly the same size and struggle as my bum is nearly a size bigger than my waist 🤦‍♀️ I find that “short “ length are still too long. Lands End used to do free hemming which was wonderful but alas, no longer..... They are a no no for me. They don’t have any jolly colours atm (as a pp said, summer pastels) but Cotton Traders do a 27” inside leg. Fit varies considerably but I have found some reasonable. When you reach the holy grail, please shout out! Good luck.

Birdcloud · 04/06/2021 20:21

Have you checked out eBay? There seem to be a few on there- didn’t check the sizes. Good luck!
