Does anyone have a brilliant eyebrow pencil they want to recommend?

I currently use a Christian louboutin one and I like it because it has a wax consistency and really does make a massive different to my eyebrows - not in a filled in way more in a creates a fluffy eyebrow when I am pretty sparse in the actual eyebrows department.

But it’s £38 and that’s just too much as I use it every day I am now scared to use it because it’s so expensive to replace.

I used to use a Laura geller one that was discontinued and the lb one is the only one I’ve found myself that is a good replacement.

If anyone has a recommendation of a pencil they have used that would be super super helpful Smile

I love benefit goof proof. Lots of shades, doesn't move and easy to apply

ZaraW · 22/05/2021 10:50

IT cosmetics is v. good

Beachlovingirl · 22/05/2021 12:10

@Nobranothanks I’ve used benefit before and the pencils were always very chunky and hard to get a good line. Is this one better?

@ZaraW had a look at their website and there are a few to choose from. Are any of them particular waxy?

Clinique super fine liner is my go too, L'Oréal do a good dupe for it as well which is half the price

SaffyWall · 22/05/2021 12:17

I really like the ELF one - cheap as chips but does the job perfectly.

Lottapianos · 22/05/2021 12:19

I love Rimmel Brow Pro Micro. Very thin, good for filling in gaps and drawing on individual hairs. I use Rimmel Wonderfull Brow, which is like a little mascara brush, for filling in my whole brow

Dear fucking god, thirty eight quid for a BROW PENCIL??!! Some brands really do take the piss

Lndnmummy · 22/05/2021 12:21

I have two favourites, hourglass (expensive) and IT cosmetics.

stressbandit · 22/05/2021 12:33

Revolution only £4 and it's so fine it's brilliant they've recently bought out a newer version which I don't like that ones called revolution pro. If you can find the older one it's so good.

MaryBoBary · 22/05/2021 13:53

Sleek micro brow pencil. It is the best I've ever used. I'm stockpiled a few in case it gets discontinued. Lasts all day without smudging or fading and works directly on skin (where I have bald patches).

Glitterandglow · 22/05/2021 15:01

I use a primark one! And I do soap brows.. so a bit of clear bar soap (like pears but you can use any one ) and wet a spooly and run it through my brows makes them fluffy and stay all day.

Welshponyslave · 22/05/2021 15:24

Primark ones are so good. The thin micro one doesn’t last long. However they have one that is a pencil (but like a crayon, not one you sharpen), a powder and a liquid to brush through, all in one pencil, for £3. I am very impressed with it. I just use the actual pencil most days and they go on easily and don’t budge all day.

Welshponyslave · 22/05/2021 15:25

When I say the primark think micro one doesn’t last long, I mean the actual pencil- you go through it quickly, it stays on your brows fine through the day.

Benefit precisely my brow is thin. Good Proof was too chunky for me too.

MenaiMna · 22/05/2021 15:38

Seller on eBay called homsy11 sells makki brand. Cheap and cheerful good staying power. I use the brow pencil (with a brush on the cap) and the brow architect. I've just realised I've been using them for ten years. And most days eyebrows are the only makeup I wear!

Tehmina23 · 22/05/2021 16:20

I use Clinique superfine liner for Brows in Soft Blonde on my fair & very sparse brows... I've actually had compliments on using it.
The colour matches my brows exactly & it lasts.
But it's £16.50, I wish it were cheaper.

Beachlovingirl · 22/05/2021 19:06

So many good recommendations here!

@Tehmina23 and @WizzbangfizzI’ve got that one but I find the tip crumbles and it is not waxy enough. It is very fine though.

@MenaiMna definitely checking they out!

@takemetothelakes hmm ok good to know. I had written benefit off but perhaps they was a mistake!

@Welshponyslave and @Glitterandglow I am actually able to visit a primark tomorrow so I am going to look for those eyebrow pencils! And glitter I also do soap brows and just need the pencil bit to make a fuller darker brow Smile

@MaryBoBary I’ve looked at that one and the shades are really good match for me and it’s a good price. Good shout!

@stressbandit I’ve had the time before actually and really liked it, I just don’t have a Superdrug nearby anymore Sad

@Lndnmummy that’s two recommendations for it cosmetics and this is a totally new brand but it looks great. I have actually looked at the hourglass ones on the website before and even had it in my basket!

@Lottapianos I have used a brow mascara type thing though think it was maybelline and I use it now when I want more brow definition. I find these as good as boy brow and more accessible and cheaper! Will check out the pencil for sure!

@SaffyWall I’ve heard good things about elf from people at work I definitely need to branch out with the new brands I try out!

Following with interest as I use the Avon one which I love but getting hold of it has become tricky this year. It's a wind up thick pencil. Might not be what you are after as my brows are pretty thick but unruly!

hoopyloopy2 · 22/05/2021 19:29

Glossier Browflick is amazing - a game changer for me. It’s a super fine pointy pen, so you draw on tiny individual hairs and it does NOT budge, even after swimming or sweating. With a bit of practice you can get a super natural result too,

NowWhatUsernameShallIHave · 23/05/2021 07:14
