Preferably some who aren't size 6 and supermodels! Although I do like those too.

These are my current favourites:

Model Mouth; who I love for high street fashion. She's in her thirties, as am I, but that's where the similarity ends, as she is tiny, gorgeous with an immaculate home!

I also like Audrey Coyne who is an American, also tiny, quite buttoned up dresser, who I also love, for her beautiful capsule wardrobes, but it isn't really my style. Still love watching it though.

Anyone else you would recommend?

Love this thread idea! I definitely need more inspiration.

I like Freddy Cousin-Brown (freddymylove) - she is not everyones taste, she is hyper-girly and pretty much only wears things in the pink/cream/camel/brown colour palette. She is a slim, not teeny tiny, I think because I am a similar age, shape, and size to her I gravitate towards her when I want to elevate my style and do something more flamboyant.

She sounds right up my street, thanks summa.

Found one on Instagram called "does my bum look 40", who I also like the look of too. I'm later 30s, so definitely can take inspiration from 40+ influencers.

If you like Audrey Coyne you should like Alyssa Beltempo, a Canadian (I think mid-30s) who does a lot of “slow fashion”, using what you have in your wardrobe and buying secondhand wherever possible. She’s a bit edgier than Audrey.

KarenBritChick is another one worth following-she’s British but lives in Brooklyn and has amazing style. Again, I think mid-30s.

I’ve recently started following Lydia Tomlinson, a late 20s influencer from Manchester who has an ageless, classic style I wouldn’t call buttoned-up at all. I’m in my 50s but wouldn’t feel like mutton dressed as lamb in most of her outfits.

Finally, there’s Justine LeConte (sp?), a French influencer living in Germany but vlogging in beautifully accented English with lots of tutorials on how to dress to suit your body type, colouring etc.

Hope that gives you some ideas!

Thanks for these. I am subscribing to all of them and will just watch videos as they come up in my subscriptions playlist.

Especially love Lydia Tomlinson so far. I wear a lot of neutrals (actually trying to break away from that a bit at the moment), so I could probably try recreating a few of her outfits.

Mrs Melissa M, does great YouTube tutorials for over 40 make up, very down to earth, I wish she was my nan! I've picked up lots of tips from her with getting foundation to look good.

Thank you, will check her out too Smile

For fashion:

  • Emma Hill
  • Jess at Fashion and Style Edit
  • Allison Bornstein
  • Seconding KarenBritChick!

It’s not one person but I really like SheerLuxe’s YouTube and website for fashion too

Watching KarenBritChick right now. Yes, she's great. Very watchable and I love her clothes - especially her handbags which are beautiful. How does she have all that wardrobe space in NYC?? I'm in the Home Counties and I have one teeny tiny wardrobe Grin.

Agree with Fashion and Style Edit, and also consider Erin at Busbee Style. I just get a little 😡 at Erin’s videos because so much of what she links to is only available in the US.
