Haven't been swimming for around 10 years, then I was a skinny size 10 and still embarrassed by my body. Post children I'm a chunky size 12 and I'm struggling to find something which I would feel comfortable going to the local pool in. Particularly covering the top of my thighs.

What do you other ladies do?

I just wish I oozed confidence but I never have.

There's no way to cover flaws in a swimsuit, so I buy whatever I like and I assume that nobody is looking at my wobbly bits as I walk the few feet to the edge of the pool. I don't ooze confidence at all, but I don't need to to do something as everyday as swimming.

You sound to be of normal build, so nobody will even register your existence as they're exercising in their own little worlds. Swimming does that - it clears your mind of your own worries and it doesn't allow you to imagine them for other people.

So I had a bit of a realisation a few years ago.
NOBODY CARES what you look like except you.
Seriously - no one is looking at you they are living their own lives.

Wear something that is comfortable and fits.
