tights and sandals - acceptable?

I'm talking opaques/fishnets and chunky silver sandals a la Hoxton 2003 not scholl and american tan by the way.

Sorry, but in my book tights and sandals just don't work - but then I'm aways bare-legged so probably not an unbia!sed opinion.
