Got a black halter neck top with a sequins covered boob area!!?It's sort of baby doll at the bottom-could I wear white or cream trousers? It's a very dressy wedding but a civil ceremony, thanks.

I think it's OK to wear a bit of whie to a wedding - just not mostly white. White is fine in the daytime as well - would be odd for an evening do I think.

Oh dear...I'm so rubbish at this style malarky!!!I liked the top,it covered a multitude of sins but maybe more for a work X-mas do?
OK have a crean trouser suit any ideas 4 a top to go under-colour style etc-thank-you.

colour - red

I think the black halter neck top would be nice under a cream suit in the day

then take the jacket off for the evening do

black accessories, bag, shoes etc - I think that all sounds lovely

PrettyCandles · 15/11/2007 13:03

(OK, possibly showing my utter style-gaff-ishness here, but) what's wrong with the black top under the cream suit? Keep jacket on for the ceremony, remove for party.

MrsBadger · 15/11/2007 13:12

black top under cream suit fine

(op didn't mention the jacket, hence my scepticism)

irishmum · 15/11/2007 13:36

Duh!!!Never thought of that.The cream suit has been worn to a wedding before(the bride-to-be was a guest!!)I'm sure she wont notice??Too busy...Thanks everyone,will give that a go later.x
