Best quality children’s joggers? Ones that don’t rip after a month or two?

My children get knee-holes in their trousers after wearing them for a month or two. I have tried sewing them up, adding patches, buying looser, but - a few wears later - the holes and rips come back.

So now I’m thinking I don’t mind spending a bit more to get some really good quality children’s joggers.

Any recommendations?

I’ve always got on well with M&S school ones. They are unisex and come in a two pack.

I like the H&M conscious ones. It's generally taken DS several months to go through the knees which isn't bad for the price.

John Lewis and H&M are my go-to kids' joggers, especially JL- they don't shrink, which is a bonus.

Frugi do some with patches on the knees, but they're only in the younger sizes i think.

I bought Matalan joggers for my son over Christmas and I’ve been very impressed. They was well and no holes so far. £10 for two from memory.

*wash

I usually buy H&M or M&S joggers - the M&S ones definitely outlast the H&M.

Next ones are good but I bought ds matalan ones and they are fine, wash well no holes or anything and a lot cheaper than next. River island are rubbish they bobble and shrink every pair he’s had.

danni0509 · 07/05/2021 12:21

H&M are good aswell.

Miseryisabutterfly · 07/05/2021 19:17

Zara are good enough. I would never spend much money on trousers of any description. I save it for tops, jumpers and jackets/coats.

I find Frugi joggers are the best ones I've found. They do 2 styles, one for younger and one for older children and the older ones have reinforced knees too

BikeRunSki · 07/05/2021 19:19

Another vote for H&M

minipie · 07/05/2021 19:21

M&S definitely - I get the navy 2 pack for school and they are great. Miles better than the JL equivalent.

H&M are not bad, but I’ve only bought non school ones there so they don’t take as much punishment, hard for me to say how they wear. Their hoodies definitely shrink and I think the joggers are the same material so guess they do too.

Camdenish · 07/05/2021 20:19

The M&S ones are worn, washed and tumble dried on high and make it through two or three children.

Very. I've got my DS the multipack of joggers, and now the jersey shorts, and prefer them over Next now
