cocktail party eeeeeek ...i have ARMS....help!

i am not in fab shape
just turned 40
5 foot 8 / 10 st 4
but with nasty flabby hams ARMS!

have looked at some shops - oasis monsoon and seen lovely stuff but none with sleeves - has anyone got the same problem ? where could i look?

Shrugs are good for hiding bingo wings arms You can get sparkly ones round christmastime from Debenhams.

saw a fabolous dress today in matalan it was a black satin effect strapless dress with a sparkly bits scattered all over the front plus they had a fab shrug to go over it - think for the both it worked out £35- bargain and looked stunning!

Have got to say i hope that when i am 4o i hope i will be 10 st4 and 5ft8!

strapless though! is that all that is in fashion?

you can't be that fat if you are 5ft8. I'd find a dress that flatters your figure then get a nice shrug to go over it.

I am 5'8" and less than 10stone but my arms still look fat in prom dresses
it's all about proportions

shrug an excellent idea, some fabulous ones in Coast. But do consider sleeved dresses, they are so elegant, esp amidst sea of ill-advisedly revealed flesh at Christmas parties.

worth a try certainly - can make shoulders wider so upper arms appear slimmer in comparison
