Plus sized and tall, 40’s and nights out.. what do you wear?

Anyone in their 40’s, tall plus sized..
what would you wear for an evening out somewhere nice with friends? Or a brunch or something like that ?

A v neck midi style dress, with a denim jacket. I’ve also bought a purple top and a white granny style crochet cardigan, which I’ll probably wear with jeans.
Although having said that I’ve not actually been out ‘out’ yet, as I don’t fancy sitting outside freezing!

That sounds nice, I should’ve added to my post... where do you shop? It’s so hard to find good quality not too pricey stuff
