After years of agonising over this I'm going to do it!!!

Have contacted a surgeon recommended on here and his pictures are fabulous. What do you think?

I need to go for consultation now!

Anyone had one?
Would you have one?
What about lipo (which he seems to do with it)?

I don't think I'll care about the scar, I'm unlikely ever to become a tiny bikini type person! Grin

hilbil21 · 07/05/2021 15:28

Yeah I'm not bothered about the scar it will never be seen Grin

hilbil21 · 07/05/2021 15:28

@MozzchopsThirty I would 100% do it again. Recovery was fine, took painkillers for first 4 days. As I said the muscle repair is definitely the worst part.

peaceanddove · 07/05/2021 15:38

Hi. I'm booked to have a extended tummy tuck + muscle repair + lipo + hernia repair in 8 days. I'm excited beyond belief. The rest of me is a size 12, but my belly is constantly bloated and I look permanently 5 months pregnant.

MozzchopsThirty · 07/05/2021 15:57

Oh @peaceanddove will you please come back and let me know how it went

I'm going to have one when my youngest is a bit older (he's 3 and a bit of a limpit). I know I need to lose weight and be fitter in preparation also! I can't wait, I feel like my stomach doesn't belong to me.

If anyone has any recommendations up north I'm all ears!

@hilbil21 your results look amazing.

RandomMess · 07/05/2021 17:43

I'd love one but wonder if at 50 I've left it too late and it's not actually worth it anymore!

WineGetsMeThroughIt · 07/05/2021 19:58
@WineGetsMeThroughIt wow that's a serious amount of money!!!!

What's a 360 TT?
A 360 TT is when it goes all the way around. I have a lot of loose skin from excess weight loss. It was about 90lbs that I lost including having 2 kids and a csection. I'm really quite tiny, but the skin is still there and goes all the way around. Major muffin top and love handles. The surgeon said I had very little fat on me and wouldn't need any lipo and that if he did the normal TT on me it would only deal with the front pooch part, but not the love handles which would never go because they're mainly skin. He said the best option for me would be to do a 360 TT that would also tighten the back and sides.

I hate my stomach with a passion. Every time I get into jeans I have to kind of jump up and down to wiggle into them and the skin smooshes as I do the jeans up and the skin looks like a deflated ball of dough. It's terrible. I dream of cutting it off with a knife myself 😩

So excited and a bit jealous of you ladies who have booked them in or have had one before.

MozzchopsThirty · 07/05/2021 20:08

@WineGetsMeThroughIt I would get a 2nd opinion
That seems like an extreme amount of money
The surgeon I'm going to removes skin & fat, there are some extreme pics on his Instagram have a look

I'm on a really good FB TT group if any of you want the details?

I've checked others and it's inline with what they would charge as well. The quote for a regular TT + breast lift and implants was about £12k, the 360 + breast lift and implants was just under £20k. The 180 TT option was somewhere in between.

It is quite an extensive surgery - both the TT as well as the breast lift & implants. I'm dying for it. Just need to figure out a way to save

MozzchopsThirty · 07/05/2021 22:56

Oh my, that's a lot to save but good luck if you decide to go ahead

Thanks @hilbil21 that would be great

I’m booked with Dr Winterton in Manchester, £7150. Can’t wait!

Wobba11 · 08/05/2021 08:52

I paid £10k for extended tuck + 2 areas lipo (upper belly and hips) in 2017. Best thing i ever did.

My scar is bad but I don't care. Its about wearing tshirts and jeans again without a pooch.

Recovery was fine. I was barely in any pain as when the skin gets stretched, you loose all sensation there. Some parts of my stomach didn't ever regain feeling. Its odd when I scratch it!

I also wanted an uplift and impants at the same time but the surgeon put me off. A tuck stretches the skin down, uplift pulls it up. He said its better to do seperatley but at the moment I'm happy in a bra.

One thing I didn't know. I have put on a bit of weight lately. My stomach is still flat but the fat has gone to random places like my back!!

Elouera · 08/05/2021 08:56

@RandomMess- my mum had one age 60, so its never too late.

@MozzchopsThirty- not having lipo was the only thing my mum regretted when she had hers done 12yrs ago. She had a hanging, apron but its now lovely and flat, BUT, her body shape changed. She is now very 'hippy' and should have had lipo on the hips to smooth them out and reduce the width of them.

Vinto · 09/05/2021 16:57

Wobba you say you feel like the scar is bad, is it worse than you expected? Do you feel confident naked?

MozzchopsThirty · 09/05/2021 18:12

@Elouera that's interesting! Maybe I'll have to ignore my fear of lipo and get it done

My appointment letter came through yesterday

Hope your consultation goes well op!

I am at peace with my mum tum, but I think this is because I've never had a flat tummy. Some of these before pics don't look a million miles from how my tummy was before I had dcs! And I wasn't overweight. Even when really low BMI, I had a wee pouch! If money was no object though, yes please to the works Grin

I'm thinking of getting breast implants and uplift if I lose enough weight, tone up and still am not happy with them. I'm used to a not perfect tummy, but these new boobs can honestly do one.

Tempted by both tummy and boobs, but I think it would be too much money Sad

SoMuchForSummerLove · 20/05/2021 11:05

Let us know how your consultation goes @MozzchopsThirty Smile

I had a consultation in December, after which all plastic surgery was paused...spoke to the clinic yesterday and they said I'll likely get a date in June (EEEK), and that they'll want me to come for a second consultation before then to meet the surgeon again and talk it all through.

I am excited - this part of my body doesn't feel like'me'. It's like walking around with a big blanket wrapped around me. I despise it.

BUT - I've put this off for years as I've got young kids, and I sort of felt it would be selfish to do this in case something goes wrong. I still worry about it. Is anyone else secretly scared of dying?

schmalex · 20/05/2021 12:34

I'm booked in for a TT and boob job in August. I am slim but have muscle separation and some loose skin that I just can't exercise away. Can't wait! Hope yours goes well @MozzchopsThirty.

User1484POP · 20/05/2021 12:45

Had a tt and breast lift in March of last year (right before covid) best thing I have ever done. I had abdominal separation due to twins and it has been a game changer. It looks good and no more back pain!

superplumb · 11/11/2021 19:10

@hilbil21

Yes please to fb details. Sorry to reopen the thread but I've found it via Google. I'm going to start saving and I'll spend the next year getting into shape and healthy which should help with recovery. I had two c sections one emergency the other planned. I wondered how the tt compared. I recall the worst bit being standing for the 1st time and trying to sleep upright
gunnersgold · 11/11/2021 19:31

I follow him on insta , he is amazing isn't he . I have been tempted too! I have a c section pouch ! 🙄

Catflapkitkat · 12/11/2021 04:44
