How can I get rid of my red knees?

I am very pale and my knees make me want to hide all summer. My knees seem quite chunky but they are dark/red so they look awful. When I use fake tan they look even worse. I exfoliate etc but can anyone recommend anything that can help??

Do you have eczema? Or otherwise extremely dry skin? Shea butter might help with that.

No my skin is not dry as I slather it in current Cerave cream (this is a new purchase)

I noticed my knees were quite red and callused when my children were toddlers, from all the time spent on hands and knees. I seem to recall a cream for heels with urea sorted it - something like Flexitol or similar. Took a while though!

Thanks @Candlestickchic I don’t have toddlers or spend any specific time on my knees Grin but that is what it looks like!
