Inspired by Cod, Today I Bought....

Purple opaque tights and petrol blue opaque tights from M&S

Then inspired by the enormous boil on my chin, I also bought
Advanced Night Repair by Estee Lauder
Spotlight skin imperfection something or other by Estee Lauder
Lancome self tanner for the body and face

Then inspired by my manky feet and resolving to do something about it I bought some lovely deep browny red Chanel nailpolish

Then deciding that actually I was shortly going to be incredibly gorgeous I went back to M&S and bought 3 lacey bras and 6 pairs of matching knickers

That was nice.

I don't at all
But I will now
And I'm going to get a spray on one just before I go on holiday in dec (never had a spray on one before, what do you reckon, 2 dyas before? the day before?)
I HAVE flexitol. I need to USE it. And go to a chiropodist (something else I've never done)

can i recommend Calmurid cream (scroll down to it)to sort your feet out?

it's simply marvellous for cracked and dry skin, even better than CCS (also on that website) and Flexitol.

Bundle · 14/11/2007 13:33

the website I linked to is a podiatrist (same as chiropodist) and she's lovely, based in Enfield though.

mintydixcharrington · 14/11/2007 13:33

ooooh bundle thanks

do you know flexitol is also v good on elbows, if you have elbows like a Komodo Dragon, as I have

Enfield not much good for wiltshire
Think there are loads of chiropodists around here though, because there are so many old people

I'm waiting for Oops who is coming for tea and a play. Do you think she is a hairy handed trucker called Steve or a relatively normal person? Oh, the thrill of waiting for a MN meetup...

Inspired by the Boden 15% off offer, I've ordered the washed velvet coat in black. Inspired by the free returns, I ordered it in my size and one smaller (as advised by MNers)

Don't have a spray on tan before holiday.. I made that mistake once. It was not good, not good at all.

mintydixcharrington · 14/11/2007 13:42

why mascara?

OK whats the diff between a podiatrist and a chiropodist

I just want someone to hack off the dead skin on my feet and leave them looking like my 1 year olds all soft and lovely

what do I need

OP posts:
Bundle · 14/11/2007 13:43

they're the same mint

MascaraOHara · 14/11/2007 13:47

it was streaky and I told her before having it that I was flying on holiday the next day. Afterwards she said if you don't like it just go swimming it'll come off fairly easily. At which point I mentioned again that I was going on holiday and could I not go in the pool. I also asked had she not thought to mention this beforethe tan at which point she responded with, well I thought you would know that.

It didn't come off in the pool and I spent most of the week swimming and then scrubbing myself with a towel trying to remove the streaks.

A friend of my also had one before going to turkey where they went to one of these turkish baths, her boyfriends massage lasted about 30mins.. the bloke doing hers was there for an eternity as all this dirty looking gunk (tan) kept coming off her. she was mortified, said her and her fella couldn't stop laughing because it looked like she hadn't washed for years.

LilRedWG · 14/11/2007 13:51

I need to get the fake tan out too. I had a salon done one before our last holiday - it came of the first day because I was stupid enough to go in the sea and use sun cream - never again!
