I want to dress like this- where to shop, though?

I have a new job! I'm really looking forward to it, but I want a bit of a style makeover. For years, I've worn black skinnies, ankle boots and a smart-ish top (usually H&M or Matalan), but I've grown out of that now.

I want to wear wide tailored trousers, smarter tops, heels (but not really high because my job involves a lot of walking about). I love the look of the Bombshell wide trousers, they are top end of my price range, but may still splash out. I've found some pairs elsewhere, but need help with tops and shoes.

I like fitted tops, that don't show cleavage (absolute no-no for work). Stretchy is better, love slashed / boat necks and v-necks.

Shoes - need a heel, not sky-high but some height is ok as I'm only 5 ft. Ideally Mary Jane or some sort of strap!

All suggestions for brands to look at would be much appreciated. I have a vision of dressing a bit like Katherine Hepburn (if she was short, fat and brunette!).

Not super cheap but cheaper than the Bombshell ones. I always find their stuff good quality.

Beware if you're quite short and wearing heels with wide-leg trousers, there's a great danger of entanglement!

I wear wide-leg trousers a lot, but wear them with flats, I think it's a much more contemporary look, and Katherine Hepburn tended to wear flat shoes too!

There's a lovely pair of wide leg trousers in Marks at the moment. Nice heavy fabric. look much nicer than you usual marks and sparks
