If you wave your hair with straighteners, what product do you use?

So excited! Hairdresser did those trendy little waves in my hair yesterday and I absolutely loved it.

My hair is quite short, just to my shoulder and no more. I'm pretty sure if I wave my clean dry hair with no product in it'll drop quickly.

Any ideas for a good product to use that will give me some grip?

Seven Day Straight (I think it’s Tresemme) holds really well.

Weirdly, if I ever hairspray over curls they drop out so fast. No idea why.
