Can someone talk to me about multivitamins (skin and overall health)

I bought a Boots multivitamin this morning and magnesium (for energy and anxiety)

But when I looked closer at the RDA this particular supplement has only 9 vitamins plus some only 60 recommendrd daily amount. Is there a particular brand I should use?

I'm in my 40s. Still have some acne. Suffer a bit with low mood and anxiety but not significantly (perhaps like us all due to covid restrictions)

Any advice welcome Flowers

I always use solgar for supplements. Always found them very good.

I take the perfectil skin hair and nails supplement and its worked wonders in clearing up my acne. Its also got vitamin d in it. I also take glucosamine for clicky joints and evening primrose oil which helps with my irritability. Sometimes take kalms for anxious days which does seem to work, although I don't know if its more placebo effect.

It might be worth looking at Healthspan. They do a multivitamin/mineral with probiotic which is good.

This chart is really helpful to show what might be worth taking depending on your different needs:

I know, I know... it’s goop so definitely take it with a pinch of vag-steaming salt Confused but it is still worth a look Grin

I cherry pick the supplements specific to my concerns rather than a multi vitamin.
I take collagen, omega 3 and astaxanthin for skin.

That's great thanks so much

Holland & Barrett's vitamins are excellent, and always on offer. Much more clearly labelled. Solgar too. I like the sprays from BetterYou for VitD and iron.

I take feel multivitamin and then an extra 4000 of vitamin d on top. Omega 3 when I remember

I like Lambert's and Solgar as brands. I am currently taking a Lambert's multi vit and mineral, and vitamin D.
