Help me! Have family wedding coming up where all cousins are v cool... I like some floaty (cool not too girly) dresses. Size 10 but pasty, no shape. Mid 30s. The dresses online are all pastel floral...

Not sure what I’m looking for other than midi, elegant, good on pasty grey skin, not booby (have no boobs!), could be worn with a little jacket...
there was a dress on sezanne I liked but sold out.
Please help!

Seconding renting! You’ll then get the chic ‘cool rich girl’ dresses you like: my favourite rental site is Hurr, but there are a few others about too.

OP - sorry for somewhat hijacking this thread!

Those of you who are suggesting renting is there any possibility to try in advance? I'd be apprehensive of renting something that looks perfect online and have it arrive two days before the wedding, look hideous on me or just not fit my body and have to dash out the the shops last minute.

@SummaLuvin
On Hurr they say they have a Fit Guarantee (must return within 24hrs) but I have personally never used this so I would double check with their customer service the exact terms.

There is a dress on the ghost website called the Palm dress. It’s well within budget so you could really splurge on the accessories

Rent his one from Rotaro! www.rotaro.co.uk/collections/dresses/products/dawn-midi-dress-in-paint

What sort of style of dress would people wear for a wedding these days? I haven't been to one for a few years, and am invited to one in August, that I would say will be fairly formal church, but quite relaxed party afterwards, if that makes sense. I am a bit older than mid 30s, but think I generally dress quite well and wear things that someone of that age would also be happy to wear, so just looking for some pointers.
