I got some crackers from Matalan of all places, £3!! They go from under boob to mid thigh, and do not budge.

Oh I think Spanx are quite comfortable compared to others, speaking as a connoisseur of foundation garments

belcantavinissima · 13/11/2007 15:31

my best ones i have ever tried (and i have tried ALOT!) are trinny and susannah ones- they are hideous though- literally up to your bra and down to your knees. i wear mine almost all the time!

belcantavinissima · 13/11/2007 15:32

oh, and they dont roll down and they are comfy enough to eat dinner in etc. highly recommended

TheChickenLady · 17/11/2007 15:31

Is there a difference between Spanx and cheaper versions? I bought a pair from Asda for £8, they were ok but still bulged so I haven't worn them yet.

I need something to wear under a knitted dress for a post-baby body that isn't all that much fatter/bigger, just has shitloads lots of loose skin with nowhere to go.

Happy to splash out on Spanx if they change my life.

LoveAngelGabriel · 18/11/2007 11:32

The ones that have little hooks that attach to your bra are best for dresses, as they don't roll on and don't have VSL (visible shapewear lines, doncha know!). Spanx definitely better than any other brand I've tried.
