Help! I need a wedding dress

Wise MNers I'm in a pickle, I need to find something to wear at my (rather short notice) wedding in June. I don't want a white wedding dress, something colourful (a colour or several colours) but still long/ish and "special".

Due to the time it'll have to be "off the rack" and then maybe tailored a bit to fit me. (I've got a slightly plump hourglass type figure)

Any idea where to look? I'm a clueless person who needs all the help I can get. Thank you!

Can you stretch the budget, because this is gorgeous to get married in.

OP I would go to the new Browns store in Brook Street (near Claridges). They have this huge mirror thing that acts like a giant Ipad and you can see a range of dresses actual size. They stock all the top designers and many newer talents, they will sort you out!!

Congratulations and good luck. Flowers

Loving this shop...can’t personally recommend though...some are heavily discounted.

Thanks! I hadn't spotted the sale... so tempting. Some beautiful and unusual things there.

Thanks @rothbury that sounds intriguing!

The two tea dress type shops look lovely, but I wear that length quite a bit so I'm not sure I'd feel "fancy" enough ridiculous as that sounds.

getting quite excited now! thanks so much for the continuing help with getting my eye in

Its a million miles under budget but I tried some Nancy Mac dresses when I got married and adored them.

I'm 5ft2 and fairly curvy size 10/12 and the bias cut worked really surprisingly well.

Thank you! In all honesty £2k is my top whack for something amazing amazing and probably custom made. I’d be more than happy to spend £200!
